The last couple of weeks have been a hectic one for pop starlet Lilly Allen after she decided to speak out on copyright issues and start her very own pro copyright blog. Without regurgitating all the details of her exact opinion here is a short breakdown of her actions that led to Dan Bull making this awesome open letter song in reply to Lilly. Oh! and the song’s lyrics are brilliantly written so go visit Dan’s Myspace page.
Below are some links to exactly what lily has been up to and what ultimately led Dan to write his retort. All articles below courtesy of my good friends over at TorrentFreak.

As you can see by reading these articles Lily has been busy, sorry couldn’t resist hehe. For me however the golden nugget of this whole debate was an “Open Letter Song” to Lily made by musician Dan Bull, the lyrics really hit the mark with all she said and done so give it a listen below.
Lily has now decided to leave the music business and also her twitter account by the looks of things as her last status update posted on the 28th Sep 2009 says simply “I am a neo-luddite, goodbye.” if you dont know what a neo-luddite is read the entry at wikipedia.
I will leave you with Lily’s own words “It’s Not Fair And I Think Your Really Mean” ![]()
