The more I listen to arguments for and against Scotland becoming a independent country from both sides the more disillusioned I become with humanity and government in general. When people or friends ask me about my opinion on Scottish independence I usually tell them that I don’t care either way. What I have noticed when I tell people this though is that it prompts a strange reaction out of them compelling them to tell me why I should care, why it’s important and why I must vote.
My initial reasoning behind this was I thought if I said I didn’t care that it would be the end of the conversation, this isn’t the case though as independence fever is all around on social media, news, public spaces, just about everywhere in fact.
On several occasions now I have actually been told that I’m being stupid from followers of both side’s of the debate for even considering not taking part in the voting or simply saying I don’t care. The fact is I do care but not about the same things these people care about like government and many other aspects of the civilization we have created as they are merely a man made illusion to me and in most cases completely broken and corrupt.
Firstly there is no such thing as Scotland, England or Wales as we all live on a single island that someone in the past decided to name and carve up, In reality this island has no name and all borders within this island have been made by humans throughout history. The universe itself does not create borders only humans create these imaginary lines and divisions to divide up parts of earth they have claimed as their own.
This island has also been here for many, many millions of years before humans claimed it as theirs, DNA analysis has shown that modern humans only arrived in Britain just over 25,000 years ago and 25,000 years in earth years is really only a few seconds ago or a minute ago if we want to be generous. Since arriving we haven’t stood still though in my opinion and have managed to achieve some notable highlights most of them to do with murder, destruction, greed and of course division.
As Scotland, England and Wales are all man made and don’t actually exist in real world terms all I see is everyone still arguing about the wrong subjects whilst the real and more pressing issues we as humans face continue to go largely unaddressed. Countries and governments are all just an illusion and are no more that simply man made entities which are usually setup for profit and to exercise control over citizens or to rape as many natural resources as possible.
Personally for me world poverty, health, famine, equality, pollution, illegal animal trade, hunting, deforestation and space exploration are what’s important, it’s definitely not what any government may that be Scottish or British try to convince me is important to follow their overall for profit / greed agendas. Whether I vote for Independence or not it makes no difference to me as we as a race will continue to destroy this beautiful planet we were loaned until it become inhabitable and we have raped all it’s natural resources leaving a mere carcass
The first step is waking up to the realisation that no one owns any of this planet and we are only borrowing it, usually when we borrow something we give it back in the same condition we received it. If we think we own something we tend to be a little more risky however as if we break it well it doesn’t matter as it was mine to begin with. I know that if I break something that I own I’m less worried about it than if I break something I have borrowed from someone, we can’t run out and by a replacement earth though.
We don’t own earth or own a place that someone named Scotland, We are only borrowing this during our life time and our goal should be to pass it on to other generations in the same condition we received it in. Instead of more division shouldn’t we all be working towards more cohesion with a goal of being responsible for earth as a whole whilst taking care of it for future generations and trying to reverse the damage we have already done as best we can.
I would vote YES to that given the opportunity.
For me the stupid ones are the people who are all discussing and voting to carve up something that does not exist in the first place, all your voting for in reality is another illusion run by different snake oil salesmen and is being made with a very limited understanding of what a government is.
I don’t have any personal gripes with any person who wants to vote or their opinions that lead them to their decision but they should at least take some time to research and understand what government is before doing so. Surprisingly nearly everyone that has spoken to me about independence after a few minutes I have quickly found out has no understanding of what our government actually is or how it is incorporated as a company and operated as one.
For example the UK Government is simply a registered company United Kingdom Government PLC LTD registration no. 3778332 all police stations and courts are also registered companies in the UK and setup for profit only. The UK Government actually re-registered themselves in 2009 after the financial crash to move all assets out of one company to another and all this information is freely available online to anyone who wants to look.
A Scottish government will also be incorporated as a PLC and run under the same conditions and in the same fashion as the current system which as we know is completely broken. When you vote you are actually voting in a new Director of a company and nothing more, the worrying issue is hardly anyone championing both sides of the debate seems to be aware of this fact.
The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it’s real because that’s how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it’s very brightly colored, and it’s very loud, and it’s fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, “Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?” And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, “Hey, don’t worry; don’t be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.” And we … kill those people.
“Shut him up! I’ve got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real.” It’s just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok … But it doesn’t matter, because it’s just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It’s only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love.
The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here’s what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.
